At the sight of her triumph, I stared at the screen bluntly. I did not want to speak. Nothing would have been appropriate; no promises that I, for a fact, couldn't thrive to keep, no plans that I would abandon three seconds later, no blame that had no impact at all now. Motivation smiled at me, but I knew she was deceiving. I had learnt to recognise her playful moves. I only needed to get the following task done, and I was struggling already.
